Il Brutto Band Poster

Located in East Austin, Il Brutto is a neighborhood Italian spot dedicated to serving authentic Italian cuisine with a focus on handmade pastas, pizzas & breads.. Translated as “the ugly,” the name Il Brutto is a nod to the iconic Spaghetti Western film The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. Now you get the "fist full of dollars" reference.

In true rock-n-roll form, these band posters were used as a guerrilla promotion for SXSW—and consecutively, were promptly removed by city officials because unpaid advertising is not allowed during the conference...badass no?

Pasta was hand-made by a real Italian and then hand-Xeroxed on a real copier by me.
