Album cover art for Atlanta artist King Low

I love music as much as I love design so working on any project that combines the two is always a treat.

Totally a win!!!

I meet a good portion of my clients through the music and art scene here in Atlanta and this project was given to me based on referral.

Another win!!!

I personally miss the physical distribution of music and I chose to sort of echo that sentiment in this design. I wanted it to feel tangible to some degree to reflect nostalgia. Hence the use of the plastic cd casing and the cellophane. However, that did not make it feel "tangible" enough for me so I utilized holographic stickers, and the barcode to bring it full circle. Feels like Best Buy circa 2000.

This was more fun than work!

Also both background images of palm trees and flames are from Unsplash!
