Autumn Process

I thought I'd whack up a process shot of my recent Autumn lettering project. I don't always do the tracing paper thing, but for this one I thought i'd see if i could refine it some more before vectoring it.

I used a softer brush pen then I'm used to using which was a challenge, as I usually like a little resistance to steady the hand. That said, I really enjoyed practicing with it. The results are great when you do manage to steady the hand a bit and zone into that flow that gets them working to nail a couple of stokes.

I used the Kuretake No. 13 Fountain Brush Pen.
