Minerva - Interfaces of a Translation App

Hey, guys.👋
Here's a concept for a translation application. I name it as “Minerva”. Minerva is the goddess of wisdom from Roman mythology. I mean, her wisdom would help all of us solve the problems in cross-language communication. At the very beginning, I planed to name it as “Babel”, which is related to translation and full of cultural connotation. Well, we all know that Babel represents the difficulties people are faced with when cross-language communicating, so I changed my mind.

The basic functions of this app involve: translation, interpretation, studying tasks arrangement, language studying punch-in, daily quotation delivery, notepad, video sharing and so on. Minerva is available for users’ personal preference of pronunciation. Like the distinction between British English and American English, Spanish and American Spanish, Mandarin and Cantonese. Of course, such a function needs the developers’ help to realize.

This time I intended to make the pages with a feel of tidy and clean. I hope that would relax the users’ frayed nerves. And people could find what whey really want very soon, especially when they were anxious and irritated by the cross-language barriers.

Hope you like my concepts and ideas. Goddess bless you.
