Midori(みどり) - Interfaces of a Flower Application

Hey, guys.👋
Here's a concept for a Plant-maintenance application. I name it as “Midori(みどり)”. In Japanese this word means “green”, indicating that this is a Utopia of plants and flowers. Its basic functions involve:Watering/fertilizing/spraying reminding, Plants purchasing, Moment sharing(of course, about plant maintenance), Plant Knowledge learning and so on.

I used dark mode this time, because I’ve learned that apps with dark mode are much more friendly to those who have vision problems, especial those who’re suffering from cataract. While it has no difference to the normal ones. I believe a good designer must be considerate to all the potential users.

Just like the last work of mine, I’m advocating a slow-paced life by my design’s tone and feel. That’s a kind of fashion and petty bourgeoisie. I dislike the means of cheating our users to pay or spend a lot of money. I believe that once they really fall in love with your product, they’ll finally be willing to pay. All above pushes me to choose such a retro color scheme. Planting is pretty nice. With Midori, that might be better.
