No. 09 — Marc (Mâhfoud)

The 9th #nametoframe was without a doubt in light of @mahfoudyourfoud, an incredibly talented musician with Assyrian roots living in Maastricht, The Netherlands. On Feb 12 this legend finished a 30-Day Challenge which was to create a whole new track or piece of music per day! In-sane. Most of them made, played and sung by himself in the studio, others with fellow musicians. The results are beyond breathtaking. Marc and I have met a few times, but with this journey je has encountered with so many more. For this typographic piece I was inspired by Marc’s background and the way he handles all the different styles with such care and attention. Can you see a crown? And a full moon to full moon? That’s possible.
