J's Search for a Perfect Favicon!

Is it just me or creating a portfolio website can really get on your nerves? Among a thousand tiny things to look after, Favicon is a very important one.

Now, Site Favicon is not Site logo-which appears at several places on your website. Rather, Favicon is the tiny picture we see in the tab of the site, next to its title in any browser.

I had never really given it much thought as to how a Favicon to my website should look, only until i saw the deadly gray icon next to my site's name in the tab. Since the theme of my website is monochromatic with only splash of yellow in it, the color yellow had to be in my Favicon. and it should be something that easily grabs attention when there are several other windows open in the browser.

After all the iterations on the border of the circular image, i narrowed it down to the self-modified Helvetica Bold letter with colourful reflections on it (one in the center).
The fonts used for experimentation are Helvetica, Roboto and Lato.
