Project Rebel: X-Wing Status

Data-viz heavy project. Through many rounds of testing, we landed on this design. This was the first time I had the opportunity to not only design, but to implement the layout, sticky filter-bars, and custom side-nav along with other global variables in the dev environment. We utilized a good amount of stuff from Angular Material.

I learned a lot on this project, especially how to gain trust amongst a new team. What exactly did I learn? That it takes time for people to open up to you and give you their full trust. In times where it felt like I was being useless up front on the project, I was actually doing everything I could in those moments. Which was to listen and keep getting as round of a picture as I could. Before I knew it, I was neck deep in design sprints and development tasks.
