Metal Spirits Logo

Born out of love for great spirits, great times and hard-core music, Metal Spirits embraces the soul of righteous rebellion and represents mavericks everywhere.

I created the "Flying Skeleton" logo by using my iPad and Apple pencil to trace a 3D model of a skeleton I found online. Then, I experimented with drawing Zeppelin-esque wings, but they didn't seem "metal" enough. I changed the wings to be more bat-like, and tried to create an M-shape with them. Finally, I slapped the decal on a bottle in Dimensions to get a feel for how it would look on the product. I placed it near the top of the bottle in an attempt to make it look like the spirit is trying to escape the bottle -- to be free.
