Preserve Life

"In America we're used to enjoying our civil liberties, we don't live in an authoritarian system-- but if what you're hoping for is life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, you have to preserve life, or the other two just aren't there."

This quote by Donald G. McNeil Jr., a New York Times reporter really struck me as I listened to yesterday's "The Daily" episode on the Coronavirus.
