This image was made for International Women's day 2020. I chose to paint Molly Burke, a YouTuber, motivational speaker and author, who also happens to be blind. She shares her experiences as a blind woman, accessibility and disability discrimination, but also her love for make up, clothes, and getting her hair done.
I admire her for being so open, bringing attention to issues we, as sighted people, do not know about, and in that way breaking down barriers. Please check her out on YouTube!
