Hectorine and Steady Sun Show Flier

Since I make so many show posters, I'm always looking for ways to make a design that is compellingly simple. After looking around for inspiration, I settled on this sun-above-bars motif.

I tried applying some techniques I've seen from other favorite poster designers where the poster is given a subtle depth, even if only rendered digitally. I also wanted to play around with pointless elements like those curved lines, just to add hand-drawn details to the very geometric design.

I used Lapture typeface, which is available here on Adobe Fonts.
