In-app new feature tooltip callout
With the Triplebyte company and candidate-facing products growing and changing rapidly, we wanted a quick way to draw users' attention to new updates in the app.
Enter Sparkles (our engineers had a fun time naming this feature in the code and coming up with an acronym: Simultaneously-Positioned Awareness-Raising Kool Little Sparkles).
We made a tiny Baby Sparkles tooltip that appears on the bottom right corner of the browser if the new feature happens to be placed somewhere on the page that's a scroll away.
This is only the first version of Sparkles and we are looking forward to improving it so we can better educate our users about the product and provide a nice intro to new features.
