Mercy and Wisdom
Mercy and Wisdom is a graphic art design dedicated for Taiwan New Year Prints Exhibition, created with elements symbolizing blessings in Chinese culture, such as tangerines referring to auspiciousness, and blossoms as to wisdom.
The theme of the design are canines, the Chinese zodiac sign of 2018. I was invited, and with the final design exhibited at National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts.
I used Adobe Illustrator to arrange the visual elements first, sketched, and then created the final design using a printmaking technique called "Pre-Sensitized Offset Plate".
