Safe in Monotony.

Then you look up one day and you don’t recognize anything. I was thinking about what I call the older gen mentality of “get a good job and stay there for 20 years” and how I’ve seen that fall flat so many times. Or, just in general the rhythms people get themselves into as they age and start to rust. Just my opinion, but the safeness is just the numbness You feel as you slip down a slope that's hard to recover from once you’re too far.
