The Almighty Cow Currency

Cows seceded from the US in 2030 after initiating a short-lived extremely violent conflict in the Southern California cattle ranches. After proving to be an eminent threat to the US, they were granted an area of land between Stockton, CA and Medford, OR. Their currency features a cow named Ruby, the first cow to jump over the moon. The graceful udder and the strong hoof are the two most important features for cows and have great symbolic meaning for their culture. Due to the lack of brain size for cows compared to humans, their currency is numerated in blades of grass between 1 and 5.
