Reef Supreme Series -Product Design

I worked with the mens footwear team at Reef in developing an outsole design for the Supreme Series. I sketched a series of concepts all incorporating the ocean and then after we decided on one, I tied in the look and feel into the hardware and branding of the series. Then it was off to the factories in Hong Kong to develop the product. We studied CADS, wood models, and materials for weeks before bringing the product home. This collectively is the highest selling leather sandal series of all time and the outsole was officially coined "The Swell Lines Outsole" and has found its way on numerous styles in Reef's current footwear line.
