36 DOT, E

Yesterday's letter got me wanting to explore lettering inspired by post-modern furniture. After doing some research I stumbled on to the Italian Quinta Chair created by Maria Botta in 1985. Which you can see a simple illustration of in the bottom left corner.

I think this E turned out pretty interesting, I love the form and the way the negative space interacts with the form.

I liked the idea of using furniture as an inspiration for typography, this is definitely going to be added to my workflow.
