Lowell Walks Logo

This is a refreshed logo I created for Lowell Walks. It is a grassroots organization started by our local Register of Deeds to get people walking around the city on a variety of themed walking tours.

In 2020 they're shifting to focus on things outside of walking like remastering old historical books and other preservation-minded things. We did want to give a call back to its original mission without being too distracting or looking like a walking company.

The "k" character was modified to look like it was mid-walkcycle, using the negative space to show the background arm. This particular stance also mirrors the one used by many walk signals seen at crosswalks.

Green was the defacto color used on legacy stickers and other collateral, so I shifted it to be a brighter, more friendly shade for this update.
