We are Mono — Branding for team

Created branding and logo for the new internal design team I lead called "Mono".

Mono is a tribute to focusing on one thing at the time. Mono-focus, mono-spaced. Doing less, but better. Focusing on craft, and creating beautiful experiences that resonate on an emotional level.

Mono also alludes to the mono-spaced nature of it’s underlying grid system. While mono sounds sturdy, it doesn't have to be. Bright, vibrant colors communicate the diversity of individuals on the team, while at same time feeling part of the extended Google family.

The animation also goes backwards when it nees to, because ultimately that’s what good design is all about. An insistence to improve, go back, and iterate.
