    It’s Women’s History Month and yes, I did research about the first female lawyer so I could make a Legally Blonde joke 💁🏻‍♀️ I mean who isn’t a fan of this comeback?

    Arabella Mansfield became the first female lawyer in 1869.

    At the time the bar exam was restricted to "males over 21". After Arabella challenged this and passed with high scores, the court ruled that women were not to be denied the right to practice law in Iowa, USA.
