Reflections — Intersections Essay Intro Pages

Intersections essays, scattered throughout Reflections, are sections that juxtapose writing from two authors from totally different backgrounds or areas of expertise, around one significant piece of art. For the intro pages to these sections, we break from the formatting of the rest of the book, using typography from the time period or style that the corresponding artwork represents. We sample color from the piece itself. And we cut the pages short, just slightly, so that a reader naturally lands on these sections when flipping through the book.
