Oxthorn Logo
The name Oxthorn comes from the nordic runes Uruz (ox) and Thurisaz (thorn). Each rune has many meanings attached to them, but generally, Uruz represents strength, while Thurisaz represents danger.
Each of the different colors is a bind rune of Uruz and Thurisaz. Bind runes were a way of forming more complex words or idea presentations by writing individual runes on top of each other.
In this context, this bindrune is meant to represent strength in the face of adversity.
Disclaimer: I am not an expert on ancient Nordic alphabets and this is just an interpretation based on my limited knowledge of runes. My explanation may be inaccurate, but those are the thoughts and motivations behind the design of this logo.
