Ash Wednesday

Thankful to have had the chance to work on Grace Church's Easter series and create this Ash Wednesday design.

Ash Wednesday was last week and it marked the beginning of the looking forward to Easter. In the midst of repenting of my own sin, I found abundant hope in remembering the promise God made to his mourning people. He promises “…to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified." Isaiah 61
