Return to Rivendell

I've always wanted to do a Rivendell matte painting, and I had actually tried one before, it's sitting somewhere in my scrapheap, but yesterday after Arrival was finished I decided to start another one and ended up focused (thanks to Seether's "One Cold Night" DVD on repeat) and arrived at one of my better results that captures the traditional Rivendell matte painting style of Dylan Cole and Dusso but has a personal twist and feeling to it. Lots of references used, the one that I'm sure everyone wants to know is the Rivendell city which is actually a photograph of the toy Rivendell city released for some board game.
