Letterforms

When creating a letter form for my resume and cover letter, I brainstormed different ways I could combine my two initials and transform them into one entity. For my first and primary version of my letterform, I took advantage of the curves of the "A" and "M" in the typeface I used and combined them, adding the top part of the "M" and an extension of the line that cuts across the "A". I then placed the letterform within a circle, creating a colored and a black/white version. For my secondary letterform, I decided to use the "M" as the "line" that cuts across the "A". I liked the dimensionality that this gave the letterform, and decided to then use different shades of green on various parts of the "A" to further press this concept of dimension.
