The Longitude exhibition was showcased experimental games and play from across the Asia-Pacific Region.
The taking place at the Library at the Dock, the exhibition was presented analog and digital games, play workshops and public presentations.
The Longitude exhibition celebrated games as a broad and persistent aspect of culture with the capacity to connect diverse groups. The works featured highlight games as activities beyond escapist entertainment but as nuanced, challenging and inspiring forms of cultural expression that bring a broader understanding of the world and the people in it.
I was asked to design the branding design for this exhibition. The logo sign and logo mark designed according to the brand principles we defined together with Hugh Davies.
The theme is experimental games in the Asia Pacific region so I could be quite experimental and creative. I’ve decided to play with the lines on a map and the shape if an island.
