A look into my process — Icon Illustrations

What’s your process? 🧐

Many designers don’t like to share the way they work, but I’m of the idea that sharing is caring & there’s plenty of room for all of us designers out here! Am I right or am I right?

I usually like to start out with a discovery phase where I learn alllll about my clients & the problems they’re facing. Instead of immediately offering a solution, I sit with the INSIGHT 🧐 they give me and continue to ask questions until we really drill down into our WHY.

After we know why they aren’t achieving their goals, I ask HOW we can achieve their goals. I do some more research and start to build out a STRATEGY ♟ so we can work together to solve the problems we discovered in phase one.

Once we know how we’ll slay the dragon, 🐉 my favourite part of the process begins! It’s time to CREATE 🎨 the solution — design the experience that will ultimately make the clients’ dreams come true! 🧠

Next, we work together to REFINE 📐 the solution to ensure it will achieve exactly what we want it to, and to ensure the client is happy with the overall direction. 😍

Once we’ve decided on a final experience, it’s time to LAUNCH! 🚀 This is quite possibly the most exciting part (it’s all exciting to me to be honest). This is where we pop the champagne & celebrate that your new brand or website is LIVE! 🥂

The last step in my process is TRANSCEND. 💓 I believe that my clients’ success = my success. I want you to not only reach your goals, but SURPASS them. I am only successful if my clients are successful — in which case EVERYBODY WINS 🏆
