Motorious – Beta landing page

The Motorious project had to be one of the most stressful yet fulfilling challenges of my career. The idea was to create a hybrid classified/editorial website for specialty cars—in three months 😅

What made this a big deal in the specialty car world was, that it was the first of its kind. In most cases, you'd find sites that only dealt with classifieds OR editorials, so our team was really excited to build something new.

This early access experience is what users would see while we were working on the core product. Its goal was to interactively educate people on who and what made Motorious a thing. To create hype, we added an early access sign-up so users could test drive the site before it launched at an annual event in Scottsdale.

How the landing page worked was when a user clicked to view the next (or previous) stat, the number for that stat would grow and turn into a transparent background element. As the number grows, the copy would reveal line-by-line with the next and previous stat-numeral peaking above and below the page.

This is the first of many screens that I worked on for this project, so bear with me as I add to it ✌️
