Paddle The Gulf Logos

Design students from around the country had the chance the participate in a logo competition for the Paddle The Gulf initiative. For the project, I was inspired by topographic maps and vintage typefaces. I went with a badge shape that came from a paddle head and a topographical illustration of the five Gulf states/the depth of water.
