ITB Library App - Redesign

ITB Library App is an application that indexed all of the books that the ITB library had. ITB students could look for books, journals, and other references in this handy application with ease.

With this application, the user (ITB students) are allowed to look for books, see information about the selected books, see currently borrowed books, and the historical record about previously borrowed books.

While being able to look for a book without going to the library is kinda useful, the application basically just tells about whether ITB Library has the book that you’re looking for or not.

It does tell you the directory of the books and where to get them but doesn’t tell you if it was available or not. It also tells you about your currently borrowed books and the return deadline, but you can’t extend the duration by the app (it’s available on the web).

Moreover, the current app UI looks old fashioned and there’s no clear design guideline. The main thing is the hierarchy of the typography and information is messy all over the place, sometimes it’s hard for us as the user to get the information.

So here it is, the redesigned version of the ITB Library application.
