For Naveon’s Post-Acute Care mobile app, we developed a unique and flexible illustration style that can evolve as Naveon grows—something visually appealing that works in many contexts and across character, scene, and icon illustrations.

To create a broad and flexible system, we identified unified concepts, themes, motifs, and visual styles that communicate Naveon’s brand while taking into account the user’s emotional state. Illustrations depict journeys, guidance, and peaceful or expansive landscapes.

The client provided feedback after initial sketches that they'd prefer to see fewer palm trees and sail boats and shift the scene away from sunset. After an initial pass at a more refined illustration, the "generic" figure in the scene wasn't working well, so we replaced it with colorful chairs.
