I was invited to a design challenge by one of my mentors. @idealblackfemale (on IG) set a call to action to collaborate with designers to use inspirational text from Jamaica Kincaid.

I decided to take this opportunity to practice my type skills and put to use Sometimes, a typeface by Boulevard LAB™.
