Today I would like to talk about illustrations, what role they play in UI design and when you should use them?

In my opinion, Illustration convey much more emotions than stock photos, easier to blend with the rest of the product, easier to recognize & no need to mention, can be custom created for any type of situation, especially in mobile, due to the smaller screen size, stock photos look jagged and harder to look at, illustrations on the other hand look as crisp in mobile as in desktop, an ideal situation to use it would be where you don't have icons to represent something and stock photos aren't suitable either. Because of the same reason I have used illustrations here, however, I think that it could be more simple in this case.
