‘Nerds Win!’ Maxim Magazine Illustrations

We’ve had the pleasure of working on a few fun editorial design projects lately, including a recent article in Maxim Magazine about a few giants of the nerd world. ‘Nerds Win!’ covers the rise of nerd culture and profiles Jimmy Fallon (SNL, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon), Elon Musk (Paypal, Tesla, Spacex), and Chris Hardwick (Nerdist, Attack of the Show, Web Soup).

We illustrated each of the three subjects profiled in the article, as well as an opening illustration of a fist triumphantly hoisting a solved Rubik’s Cube. There are also plenty of hidden symbols representing the projects and interests of the three nerds featured.
