Digital DUMBO | Website

Hello Dribbblers!

Another view at the UI Design we did for Digital DUMBO.

We divided the website into four different categories. About DD - that should convey the story of DD as a company. Event Platform - upcoming and past events, where the members can find info, attend and get tickets. DD community - a database of all companies that are part of their community. Job board - a place where companies can post their job ads and where talents can look for a job.

What is Digital Dumbo?

DD was founded in 2009 as a social gathering for creative and innovative companies in the Dumbo neighborhood of Brooklyn. Today, they have over 22,000 members both in and outside of Dumbo.

They worked with some of the hottest emerging advertising agencies and startups, as well as Fortune 500 technology companies, to create unique thought leadership opportunities, launch new products, recruit digital talent and much more.

DD has executed different projects with partners like Microsoft, Facebook, and Google, and have featured executives from VICE, Reddit, Buzzfeed, Etsy, foursquare, and more as speakers.

Our Role, Challenges and Goals

We were working closely with the founder Andrew Zarick to help him adapt his new ideas for the company, redesign and strategize about the new website, and the overall branding.

The main challenge was to find the best possible solution on how we can replicate the experience of the DD events into the new digital platform. As an extension of what happens after the actual events, the attendees should be able to continue the same experience online. The website should allow the members to find and connect with other companies and should help companies recruit talents and host events in partnership with DD.
