Quinox Logo Animation

A logo I designed for my graduation project in 2014. The project was about seasonal affective disorder.
In the course of my research I found that the scarcity of light in winter is the main contributor to depression, so the solution I proposed in the project was based on Light. For this reason, the idea behind the logo is based on contrast, light\shadow. This is shown in the thickness of the type and the symbol of contrast (letter O) that also becomes a smiley face when rotated.
