If your product involves financial service, you probably need to encounter the user experience problem when requiring your clients to provide personal information for the identity verification process. Especially if you also need to consider local law of the country you are serving, the persona used in design research will be much complicated.

At the very beginning of the GCFX project, we thought it is a problem that can be solved purely by user experience design. The longer we involved in the project, we realize that it is a design operation problem. By applying a lot of conditional assumptions on how the account opening flow works, we can identify in which way we should design and develop in order to suit their operation process.

Sometimes we cannot avoid presenting a long input form, the only thing we can do it to make it reasonable for users to experience the form fielding process. Think out of the box and break the design mindset constraint, it will be easier to find the right solution.
