Art Villas – Identity Guidelines

Excited to share with you one of my recent works for unique villas hidden deep in the jungle of Costa Rica.
About Art Villas
Art Villas complex is made out of 3 villas, each designed by a different architect. That is translated by a “one of a kind style” of each villa.
The new design language and brand is flexible and highlights the bohemian spirit and the uniqueness of each Art Villa. We wanted to connect the intricate essence of nature, with luxury and simplicity.
Design Strategy
The design strategy mirrors the uniqueness of the Art Villas concept. Main aim was to create an identity that would feel sophisticated, premium and minimalistic. To capture the story and vision of the founders, I’ve created one overarching brand identity - the main symbol represents balance and connectedness to nature with intertwined letters “AV”.
To encapsulate and help differentiate each villa I’ve also created a flexible logo design system. Each villa has its own name and logo based on the founding story and specific details of its surroundings.
All of this helped us to create a unique and flexible visual language, that can adapt with the business as it continues to grow.
