Unauthorized Redesign of Perspective's Share

Horace Dediue works on an app called Perspective. It does motion graphs like in his presentations and website, asymco.

The app has a share feature which allows a link to be shared of the perspective deck (like a keynote) with a link. The page looks like this.

Initially I was just frustrated by the buttons on the bottom of that page. Just wanted to send Mr asymco an very strongly worded email about how its broken.

I ended up redesigning the entire page.

I still think it needs some work. I'm struggling with showcasing the slide (like a video or a photo) vs having it disconnected with the text below (which can be much longer like an article an needs to be easy to read).
