Reconstype Digital Typography Experiment

I like to learn new things by making something out of it. This was an experiment I did in 2018 with HTML Canvas.

'Reconstype' is a typographic installation for public experience made by Thinking*Room in 2014 where 5 different typefaces fragmented into magnet modules and people could create a new visual images or typeface and have fun with it. http://thinkingroominc.com/work/reconstype

Amazed by the idea, I was thinking about how to make it available for larger audiences. The digital experience resembles the real installation with the same fragments. You can grab random fragments and download the whole canvas as an image as you finished.

The microsite(http://reconstype.app/) lasted for a year as a secret playground for me and my colleagues :D
