RAINBOW GLITTER SKULL

Oh my god! I can not even tell how excited I am to share this piece. I have been waiting to share this ever since I designed this logo. I think this is the best I have done till date, and it is my FAVOURITE.

Now that I have shown you how excited I am, lets talk about the logo.

Designed this logo for an FX makeup artist @beckyk_makeupfx who does hair, makeup and wigs for theatre, TV & film. She specialises more in the prosthetic and FX side of the industry - lots of fake blood and horror.

She wanted a bold and eyecatching logo for herself, and mentioned that her ascetic is a weird fusion of black gothic stuff and mental rainbow glitter. Hence, I thought of designing a logo that represented the fusion.
After a lot of research, I decided to do a skull with rainbow around the mouth, modern dramatic hair and kept most part of the skull black to give a gothic feel. (Picture #2) So, I presented this logo to her, just to get the main concept (mentioned above) approved.
Once she approved the main concept, now was the time to take it to the next level.
Kept on working on the design, adding all the little details I could, till it looked eye catching and cool enough (at-least to me) to present it to her.

Once I was satisfied with the design, and ensured what I had envisioned is on my screen, I presented her the modified version.

And, guess what!? She LOVED IT! She loved the overall design but asked me to change the font and show it to her on a black background to check the versatility and practicality of the design.
With some tweaks to the design for the black background (so that it pops on it), we were finally done with the logo.
