Just the tip of the design iceberg.

It took a lot of time for me to understand the summary that FastCompany made on McKinsey’s study on Design Leadership. (Link is below if you want to read.) Interestingly, there is a statistic that design-led companies have 32% more revenue. But despite that, the designers still struggle to find a place with 90% of companies not being able to use design talents’ full potential and 66% of CEOs not knowing what their designers did. The need to reach across the aisle, the lack of clarity for work scope were also discussed. But what does this really mean for us? Is it just establishing objectives or undergoing through all the necessary growing pains to educate and carve a role...?

Not really sure, just my thoughts on the story behind the numbers.
