Jelly Flower

Usually, my day time UI/UX work is practical and in the 2 dimensional world of Sketch, but my love of eye candy keeps me experimenting in my free time.

For the past several years, I've been going down a 3d rabbit hole, but I've often gotten pretty stuck when it comes to rendering.

I've learned the basics of Arnold and Cycles 4d, but I get impatient and haven't really found a way of getting immediate visual feedback.. This abstract Jelly flower is done in Element 3d. I'm still getting to know the software by messing around, but it definitely has given me much more real-time feedback to more quickly experiment with light, color, texture and other rendering qualities.
