GLOOMY FLYERS
Been sick for quite some time, but finally starting to recover properly. I took the time off as an opportunity to do intense research and reading. I eventually fell on new studies on the environment and came across predictions for the future. In an attempt to spread the word a bit further, I came up with a new project: Gloomy Flyers.

THE CONCEPT
Facing horrific statistics and facts, new predictions on climate change feel like they're coming straight from science-fiction. Sadly the estimations not so farfetched anymore and their probability increases.

I wanted to borrow the graphic language of promotional flyers, as well as the infamous tagline "everything must go/disappear", which here takes a deeper sense. It was also a way to connect climate change to its direct causes - over-consumption and capitalism.

‘Gloomy Flyers’ aspires to be a mini-series to spread knowledge on these topics through the worst plausible predictions, and provoke individual & collective action. Here the discount represents the proportion of what we’d lose. Pretty scary.
