Mobile Adaptive for an Artist's Website
Just finished working on a website redesign for a very talented local artist 👨🏻🎨 and want to share it with you today 😃
The key tasks and challenges were:
🤔 Focus on the visual content
🤔 Keep the website clean and elegant
🤔 Make sure the font works well both for Cyrillic and Latin alphabet
🤔 The Owner’s description included a request for Huge design
🤔 Make the website look good on mobile devices
The solutions:
✓ Keep a lot of the white space
✓ Choose the readable and elegant font
✓ Recreate the Gallery visiting experience (firs art, then the title and description
✓ Make mobile navigation simple and adaptive
✓ Keep a close eye on the developers, while coding😉
This is the mobile adaptive version for the website, as I found it to be the most interesting piece of the project.
After some consideration, we decided to move it away from the upper left corner, to make it accessible for the thumb. And for the sake of general minimalism, we moved everything, except language into the navigation drop… up? 🤣
Seriously, don’t know what it’s called 🤷🏻♀️
Hope you enjoy it 😉🏀 L | S
