Mobile Adaptive for an Artist's Website

Just finished working on a website redesign for a very talented local artist πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸŽ¨ and want to share it with you today πŸ˜ƒ

The key tasks and challenges were: πŸ€” Focus on the visual content πŸ€” Keep the website clean and elegant πŸ€” Make sure the font works well both for Cyrillic and Latin alphabet πŸ€” The Owner’s description included a request for Huge design πŸ€” Make the website look good on mobile devices

The solutions: βœ“ Keep a lot of the white space βœ“ Choose the readable and elegant font βœ“ Recreate the Gallery visiting experience (firs art, then the title and description βœ“ Make mobile navigation simple and adaptive βœ“ Keep a close eye on the developers, while codingπŸ˜‰

This is the mobile adaptive version for the website, as I found it to be the most interesting piece of the project.

After some consideration, we decided to move it away from the upper left corner, to make it accessible for the thumb. And for the sake of general minimalism, we moved everything, except language into the navigation drop… up? 🀣 Seriously, don’t know what it’s called πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Hope you enjoy it πŸ˜‰πŸ€ L | S
