I am really enjoying shedding some light on the final form of our guides, preparing our research and testing to feature our usability. The document is a fun way to recap our discoveries and connect our findings to trail user pain points and dislikes. The Active Guide System has been a reaction to trail user's needs and "real behaviours". The most informative part was how much our testers disliked the use of photos. With Instagram and social media already overwhelming them... they did not want photos. This insight shattered my ideas and it is exactly this feedback that fires me up about testing in the design process.
