Chimney Cake Bakers

The Chimney Cake Bakers project was the first collaborative effort between Crate47 and our sister company of Liqui design, and it not only fed our imagination but also our stomachs.

We were approached by the Chimney Cake Bakers, specialises in the baking of the Eastern Europeon street food Chimney Cakes, to create their entire brand identity from the logo through to the website, menus and sign. While our sister company Liqui designed the coffee shop interior along with a range of bespoke furniture and lighting.

Conscious that the brand was to be used as a franchise model, we create a logo that was bold and instantly recognisable complimented by a floral gypsy pattern (a homage to the Chimney Cakes Eastern European roots) to help soften the whole brand identity. This was then rolled out through all media including the website, menus, signage, furniture and interior.

Crate47 and liquidesigns dual involvement enabled continuity throughout the project and worked seamlessly to create a considered designer café with a strong and relevant brand identity.
