Daily UI #045 - Card
Thoughts
I really enjoy designing cards, I see them as little puzzles. I like to challenge myself to get the most amount of information in the most compact container, using the least amount of visual language. It reminds me of packing a car for a road trip, you want to get the most possible stuff into your car while still being able to sit, and see, comfortably.
Here are the cards I designed for my DailyUI road trip. The dogs shown here are actually up for adoption, I used content from a local pet shelter ARF to build my design around. If you are interested, you can check out their website here: https://www.arflife.org/adoptable-pets. I got my dog, Max, from there, and they helped me with dog training as well. ARF is a great foundation, I highly recommend them.
Coincidently, they already had some cards on their adopt page. So technically this would be a redesign, but only for the cards on their site. I would be curious to see if an improved website layout would increase adoption rates. Maybe I will put that idea on the back burner
