Daily UI #041 - Workout Tracker
Thoughts
When I was preparing for today’s challenge, I remembered I had created a workout tracker for an earlier challenge. That challenge was to create user settings, but I ended up creating two experiences in one to make my prototype more legit. You can check that out here: https://dribbble.com/shots/6848481-Daily-UI-007-User-Settings
It was interesting for me to go back to this challenge, it gave me perspective on how much my UI skills have increased. I was facepalming at some of the decisions I made technically and aesthetically. This round went much smoother, I wonder what I will think about it when I am done with all 100 challenges.
As for the functionality of this design, I wanted to create modular components that would work whether the user wants to do 1 set or 100 sets. The first screen shows an example of that modular functionality. After the user is finished with a set they tap the corresponding button then a modal appears with a timer, encouraging the user to rest for 1 minute 30 seconds.
